I’m proud to be on the Board of Directors for the

Network for Diversity in Concert Percussion

Our Mission:

The Network for Diversity in Concert Percussion is a collective of performers, educators, and businesses who serve as a resource for, and support to, aspiring professional percussionists from underrepresented and underserved communities* in an effort to improve equity, diversity, and inclusion in the concert percussion community.
*including but not limited to Black, Indigenous, Hispanic, Latinx, Asian, Pacific Islander, Queer, and women

What We Do:

Our Youth and Emerging Artist programs will utilize the collective resources of the concert percussion community to address equity, diversity, and inclusion in our field through advocacy, mentorship, professional development, individual and group sessions, access to equipment and/or facilities, and financial support. NDCP Youth and Emerging Artists will benefit from the knowledge, experience, and resources of the NDCP Professional Members.  In addition to these programs, our NDCP Guidance Counselor services are available to all underrepresented and underserved percussion students and their educators.

  1. Dear John, I am writing with a short question for you. I was speaking with Peter Erskine after a gig he played in Germany (I’m on vacation in Europe and Peter is an old friend of mine from college days). He is looking for a good place to donate some marimba mallets and I though there might be a good fit with the NDCP. I am looking for the contact information for him to use to communicate about this. Please let me know the appropriate contact person and email for him to use so I can send it to him.

    Thank you,
